M167 Imperial Chandelier by Eichholtz - Met Collection

Part of The now famous Metropolitan Museum of Art New York design collaboration with Eichholtz. The "Imperial Chandelier" by Eichholtz, inspired by the grandeur of a Greek marble column (ca. 300 B.C.) from the Temple of Artemis at Sardis. With a brushed-brass finish and clear glass elements, the chandelier's design evokes the monumentality of The Met's fluted Ionic column, which once towered at a height of 58 feet in its original location. Please note these chandeliers are hand done and there is a substantial waiting list. Orders may take up to 10 weeks to supply but the wait is worth it - They are magnificent.
